#UPDATEALERT: the AAP has updated its guidelines on food allergy prevention in babies. The short of it? There’s no evidence that proves delaying the introduction of allergenic foods beyond 4 to 6 months of age works in preventing food allergies. There’s some interesting/important stuff on the affects diet during pregnancy and breastfeeding have on allergies and eczema, too.
